Hall’s Harbour Community Development Association
The Hall’s Harbour Community Development Association (HHCDA) is a non-profit organization created to stimulate & sustain community growth and development as well as support community organizations, fishers, businesses, & residents to reach their goals.
The Association conducts its activities within the boundaries of the Hall's Harbour fire district. Click on the map for more detail.
The HHCDA will be putting together a Climate Change Adaptation Plan (HHCCAP) for the Harbour and ask for your input. The goal is to have a representative from each organization be a participating Director or member of the HHCDA. What is good for one organization, whether it be the Fire Department, Fundy View Community Society, Harbour Authority, Water Co-op, HistoricalSociety etc, will be good for our entire community. Working together we can achieve much more for the betterment of the community and the harbour.
We are asking for your input as we move forward. What are your organizational longterm plans? How can we all work together to assist, the Water Co-op with the necessary resources to sercure safe drinking water? Fundy View Community Centre hall is in need of assistance with fixed expenses? Working together with residents to develop acomprehensive plan, will guarantee that the goals and objectives of each organization is taken into account.
Volunteers are always needed so reach out to any of the board members to find out how you can help. If you wish to make a donation, cheques can be made payable to "Friends In Support of Halls Harbour". A taxable receipt will be issued for all donations over $20.
